Formalin is still the fixative of preferenbce for most biopsies. It is however carcinogen and thus all contact with the fluid or vapor must be avoided. BiopSafe allows to do so in a simple way and avoids all contact in spaces that are not adequately ventilated. The formalin is hidden in the lid and is only releasedafter the closure of the lid into a sealed container by applicating the knob. The safety of the medical staff and the patiënt is hereby guarateed.
